    most likely aiptasia

there are a lot of tried, tested, failed, does not work, marvellous methods out there.

I use white vinegar that I very slowly inject to dissolve the pests. But can only do 1ml per 100L total system volume per day.

    Peroxide, some guys use that.

Aiptasia-X works but can kill other members of the anemone family, including zoa's.

Aiptasia Wand, a shock stick to electrically dissolve them

Lazer light, to burn them away.

    Kalkwasser past

    Berghia nudibranch

Copperband fish (please they do not really work - depending on individual)

    Certain butterfly fish and Angels

    Peppermint shrimps.

    Drying the rock

    Blow torch

    Pool Acid

The only thing that look like a small anemone and multiplied fast is aiptasia. Some are white and get a brown one. The white one, glass like, see threw. What do you keep, coral wise. RiaanP post a few options you can use. You want that stuff out your tank.

Hi Bilqis, I've had quite an experience with aiptasia, to make a long story short, what worked for me is a "raccoon butterfly", these things will rid an infested tank of aiptasia. Added... just remember to keep the raccoon around 2 months after aiptasia as cleared, as they release spores which in turn well grow and infect again. (the raccoon wouldn't give those spores a chance to grow)
