Help my buddie

    he has 800L setup and had the worst white spot I have ever seen.He treated twice with sera white spote in 3 weeks time,but nothing seems to work!he lost 9 fish!What must be done?O he is also running 15kg malaysian live live rock with 3 1200L canesters full of ceramic rings and bio balls.any suggested way to go with?

    Has he tried testing his nitrate levels?

    He should have at least 10 times as much live rock in that system.

    Canister filters (especially with ceramic rings and bio balls) are known to produce really high nitrates. He's going to have to do quite a few big water changes. to basically change all of that water. Then replace the canister filters with a nice big skimmer.
