    Help ID "Candy basslet"? Please
    Can any one ID this basslet (on the right) for me please?

    We received both as a candy basslet but the candy is on the left - who is on the right? :please::please:

    @Lord_Blackadder answered in my "wrongly posted" thread as follow:

    "Neither are candy basslets (L. carmabi). The left one is Liopropoma swalesi and the right is Liopropoma collettei."

    and YES i concure it is Liopropoma swalesi and the right is Liopropoma collettei

    The L. Swalesi is also sometimes commonly called the Pacific Candy Basslet, which is probably what the supplier sold to you as a Candy Basslet

    No - the wrongly was me double posting here and in the other thread - sometimes I do things and forget I have already done them :p

    i have two of the swalezis and they are really cool . the coletti is more secretive.

    They (Liopropoma collettei) are stunning little fishes - I am hooked!!!
