Help - Chiller Repair

hi . Any one can recommend a place I can get a chiller repaired in the JHB region. I have Hailea chiller which needs repairs. Thanks

Hi,
1) there is a noise when the chiller need to "kickin"
2) general health check to make sure the cooling works

Did you manage to get it sorted Zubair ?

I bought a chiller. Hooked it up two months ago when it was cold.

But now that it's warmer this week it hasn't kicked in and the temp is rising above 26 now and set on 25c.

Also a Haelia.

First of all clean you re chillers radiator and airvents sometimes this sorts it out

Thanks, I did all that when I got it.
Looks like new... Just does nothing currently
Initially brought tanks temps down due to water leaving tank and going through the radiator etc in cold winter temps .... But has never actually kicked in

Hi. The chiller was unfortunately not repairable. I had been running it for over a year, and I did not maintain it. I was not aware I need to do regular maintenance on a chiller .
I've learnt the hard way that I must regularly clean radiator and airvents sometimes - Expensive mistake.
I'm now running a TECO TK 1000 Chiller - and very satisfied with it. Running it 2 month now.

I have logged a call for someone to come one site this afternoon to check it out.

While I was waiting I though maybe a quick test.
I set the chiller to 3 degrees C t osee what happens.

Sure enough it kicked in and I could hear sounds happening.

After 5min the following happened. Tank went from 24.4 to 24.3 ... almost no change.
But chiller went from 24.7 to 25.1

is that normal ?

Also I now see a blue dot at the top of the screen as well.
eg 24. & a higher blue dot 4

Do chiller normally get hotter initially ?

No, discreption wise your theromstat is broken and itis giving faulty information.
