    Hello to all

Firstly i think some you guys had a cut in Zuma's tax money.
Seriously what do you guys do:biggrin:

I decided to join after alot alot alot offline browsing.

    Actually getting more confused

I have alot of planning to do still and tank/stand wise would be diy.

This will probably a very slow build money wise. Geld groei nie op bome nie op.
Some of you got alot of expensive stuff:m33:

So tank wise I'm thinking of a cube and sump at bottom.

    L-700
    W-700
    H-600

    Sides in 8mm
    Base in 12mm

    Regarding the sump still reading

Stand 1m high probably be the max

All the other things still clueless as i don't want to get S#*t equipment, but also don't have alot to spend

Welcome, you don't need all of the fancy gadgets a lot of people have, a tank can be run on the cheap very easily, some equipment can be diy'd and some supplements you can get from the supermarket.

Hi and welcome...its true what viper says...one doesn't need all the fancy gadgets...I run a 4ft tank with no sump and no fancy gadgets. Just hob skimmer and good old fashioned water changes.

theres never a need to "keep up" or impress anybody ... do and use what you can afford,be proud of it and let the hobby be enjoyable instead of turning into an expensive burden ...

Oh I forgot to mention for flow I use some cheap ass Chinese wave maker. Well it does the trick of creating flow and the fish is happy as can be. Think my whole setup without fish cost me maybe two grand.

This hobby is really simple if we understand the basics, we like to complicate things and think equipment will make us better reefers. Utimately you must choose a route that will fit in with your lifestyle
