    Hello And Welcome

I do not know your marine experience or what you been told by your local fish store LFS
    But
Please do not use tap water and try to condition that. Please do not.

There is a lot of info on MASA, it is worthwhile to spend a few days learning / surfing.

You can buy the RO filter. Check out the sponsors.
Or you can buy RO water from your marine pet shop.

But as this is a new 6 feet tank, I reckon about 500L, maybe invest into a RO filter now before you buy 500L of water is not a bad idea. That is about 20 cans of water you have to carry. How your back and arms tonight? :)

And normal household RO units are different. Do not use them.
