Welcome to MASA Le Roux, glad you joined us. This is a great site to learn about marines. Please read through my signature for some great beginner info. Don't be shy to ask as our advice is free, and please do before buying anything - unfortunately some LFS's might sell you outdated stuff or stuff that's not needed. Look through the sponsors threads and see who is closest to you. Good luck and enjoy this addictive hobby :wave2:

A VERY WARM WELCOME to MASA, Le Roux.....

Have you spoken to someone previously about keeping marines, Le Roux? If not - while you are searching for your tank. Please allow us to give you as much information on keeping marines, as possible?
The sea is millions of years old - with it's own cycling and recycling processes (of nutrients - and dead tissue)..... We are trying to emulate the sea, in our homes, by keeping marines tanks....

Therefor - we need to be EXTREMELY patient with our marine tanks. There's a saying in marines: Only bad things happen quickly in marines!

So - please be patient - read and learn as much as you can - identify a goal that you want to achieve (a tank, and it's inhabitants), and then let us assist you in achieving that goal.

Please ask as many questions as it takes, for you to become the absolute BEST reefkeeper that you CAN be!
