If you are not passionate enough to pull you through the difficult times you might regret spending that amount of money, usually that is the size you UPGRADE to once you got the hang of marines.

Big tank! I would rather take R80000 and build a smaller tank from scratch. That way you know what you dealing with. Welcome!!!!!!!!!

40k worth of corals my ass. No that's not a very good deal. You can build your own set up for WAY less and it will be to your custom needs. If you are new to marines you should rather start smaller so the maintenance and start up costs are smaller. The bigger the tank, the greater the monthly costs+time needed to keep it going. Welcome to MASA btw :)

Why on earth would you want to spend R50 on something ugly like that to occupy your lounge or wherever? I really don't see 40k worth of corals there, maybe 20k.

Rather get a slightly smaller tank and get better live rock and LED's and mainly a different cabinet. Also the "wall" aquascaping on that tank sucks.

I for one like the cabinet, very rustic!
My 2 year old will also have fun coloring in the patches!

these look like they might give alot of trouble if they arent plumbed in the correct way

    sure?
Some of the corals do look older and bigger than just 6 months growth. Must make sure of the real age of the equipment for possible warranty issues. Maybe some of the stuff is newer, but the tank and corals do look older than 6 months.
How sure are you on the 6 months estimate?

    agree.
hard plumbed to the overflow will give issues. The inlet pipes are too thin.
