It looks smart, hopefully I will make it work for me "smartly"

Used to have a marine tank a number of years back - wow it has changed! especially the tech!!!

    Exciting times lay ahead!

Ill update every now and then unti lit comes - then ALL the posting and pics will come

Ok, since I have seen how so many of you enjoy pics, I mentioned the tank I have ordered, and yes I know there are not many around, so I thought I would post a pic on how the tank looks

    Hi all who have replied.
Thanks for the image thing hahahahha and thanks getting the pic up.
Dont know much about the tank actually, just looks nice to me and yes a remote??? i was like *** after that too, but oh well - hopefully in 3 weeks time Ill know more. I cant pics or more info on that tank anywhere.
Only things I know about the tank are as follows
    size = 1766L x 642w x 1668H (height includes the cabinet height
has some or other filtration that delivers 3000l per hour and says it has 40W x 5 lights - not sure if it is T5's - dont think so some how, but I will mod it anyway to T5's
oh...and it has a 18W uv filter built in somehow.

If anyone has any onfo on it I would greatly appreciate it!

does it come with a sump or without a sump? if not get 1 built for the tank. normal filtration is not suggested for such a large tank;)

very good looking tank ,pity you going to have to basically strip all the awesum features and replace them with what you will need for a successful marine setup..... from what i have read, that tank is 100% freshwater designed, from filters to lights... considering it looks like it could cost quite a penny, have you even considered already marine plug n play systems???

or even a basic marine setup in that price range

oh and those tanks were designed mainly for arowanas

just the basics of the tank and i believe it does have a sump system, so may not be that hard to change over actuallym but imo just not worthit to buy something so nice and expensive and strip half the tank to replace with marine parts

its like buying a brand new lamborghini and fitting aftermarket body kits to it

Thanks for the info. What i understand it is T8 tubes in there that I will strip out. I too believe it to have a wet dry filter system in it. Oh well i love a challenge and really looking forward to. The look of the tank suits the interior of my home so thats the important part. That keeps the wife happy hehe

Besides there is no rush and as we know taking our time in this hobby is what will bring success. Once it is delivered ill measure it all up and have a sump built to suit etc and am not going mh lighting. I still have the chiller and skimmer from my last system. So theres a little saving
