Hi there. I've being busy with my new 700 liter tank and it's been up and running now for almost a year. I now think I'm ready to start adding colour to my tank by introducing a few easy to keep corals and frags. Anny assistance and help in this category will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance:thumbup:

    Hi Wilkenr,
It is quite clear that you are new, You did not post any pics ;)

    Welcome to MASA!

Do share some more details regarding your setup? What type of filtration do you use? What stock do you have?

Zoas and Mushrooms are in general the easiest to keep, but that's my 2c.
Start using the paperclip and add your pics!

    Cheers!

    My Setup

    Hi there.
I have a 700 Liter tank running 2 x 100 liter sumps. The one sump is running my skimmer with BIO MEDIA as well as a deep sand bed. The other sump is running my Bio balls with Ceramic rings as well as the phosphate reactor and the lastly the recircultion pump.
Each sump has got a 20 Watt T 8 10000K light with LED night lights.
The display tank has got a 12000 L/h wavemaker and a 3000l/h wavemaker on the opposite side. I have about 40 Kg of live rock and another 15Kg busy cooking.'
I only have 3 x percula clowns and 3 x Yellow tail Damsels. Also have one Hermit and about 10 Snails. And lastly I have 2 x Fire Shrimps.
The only corals or anemones is the tree anemone I bought from PTA and that one split in 2. So now the two have grown quite big.
I run 4 x 200 Watt heaters in the sumps. The lighting on my tank is 2 T5 Cool White 10000K'and one 40 Watt Cool white 14000K tube and the the 1, 5 Meter Blue LED night light that is actually running 24/7.
Will see if I can manage to upload a few pics

It sounds as if you've got the basics sorted.
We just need to get the pics for the picoholics amongst us! :)

Xenias and star polyps are good for giving some movement and are very easy to keep as well. They can take over very quickly though, if not kept in check.

What substrate do you have in your DT?

Your tank is looking very sterile! Do you clean the glass often? In general, coralline algae is a sign of a healthy tank, or are these very old pics?

I do agree with you, time for some color!
I Do like your minimalistic scaping, as well as your goby. He looks VERY inquisitive :)

Remember to post a pic or two of your sump area as well.

Looking to buy small frags and start growing them inside my tank. Enjoy.
