I got bugged to join by RiaanP.

I've been collecting sea shells for 6 years. About 1500 South African species in my collection. Plus a few overseas species, mostly Ovulidae.

I'll gladly help you to ID snails. If I cannot help you, I got a lot of contacts and somewhere I will get the answer.

WELCOME TO MASA:) great to have you join. I have a snail id like id'd but they are primarily nocturnal so i havent tried to get a decent pic, i'll take one soon and perhaps you can give me an id. naughty little algae eaters, always getting into pumps and breaking them, but do a great job of keeping LR clean:)

    Welcome!

Also been collecting for ages...about 16 years on and off. Been more interested in keeping live molluscs of late, but I do still occasionally collect the odd shell for my collection while diving for fish.

Dig your avatar. Jenneria pustulata, SPS coral eater.

I can see you are a collector because this is family of the Ovulidae's and the only family I collect world wide
