    Hey There All

I've Been On The Site For Almost 3 Hrs Consecutively And I Confident U Guys R Da Masters And Will Give Me The Best Possible Advise Not Like The Pet Shop Dealer Did. But As They Say Once Bitten Twice Shy But Knowing That You Guys Will Assist Me I Have No Doubts.
Tonight I Will Post Some Photos Of My Tank And Sump And Your'll Can Tell Me Wat Equipment To Buy. Because I Want My Tank to Be Perfect This Time Like Some Of The Gurus On This Site. I Wasted Alot Of Money Previously Believing One Pet Shop Dealer And Wen I Got Other Guys To View My Tank They Came With The Same Story " You Need To Spend Lots Of Money To Sort Your Tank Out " I Dont Mind Spending A Buck or two As Long As I Get The Right Equipment To Do The Right Job, But I Need Lots Of Help Cos I'll Be Totally Honest I Don't Know Anything.:(

welcome saravensan:) very nice to have you here. I am sure MASA will e able to give you good advice, free of charge and help you along to understanding what YOU need to do to have what YOU want to achieve.

however to do that we need you to help us a little first, by giving as as much info as you can on what you have, what your experience and history has been and where in 5 years time you would like your tank to be:) Not so hard really.

so lets start with a few questions, simple fun ones for now:)

    Where do you live?
    How big is your tank?
Do you have a sump, and if you do how many chambers and what equipment do you hide in there?
    How old is the tank?
And how many or what creatchures and tank mates do you keep in there? From the little guys (pods and bristle worms) to the things you might have put in there?

And lastly, what sort of tank would u like to have eventually? SPS, LPS, FOWLR? and ummm do you know what I mean by those things?

Welcome to MASA, and to marines, its a wonderful ride, lets see if we can help you enjoy it a little more.

THANX MY MAN FOR THE WARM WELCOME
I AM CONFIDENT THAT MEETING YOU GUYS WILL ENSURE MY TANK THE BEST SETUP AND UP KEEP.

OKAY FOR YOUR 1ST ? I RAN THE TANK FOR OVER A YEAR BATTLING TO GET THE RIGHT ASSISTANCE BUT I DO KNOW THE BASICS LIKE WATER CHANGES WHICH I USED FROM THE NSW. I ALSO KNEW TO CHECK FOR AMONIA AND NITRATES BUT JUST THE BASICS. I BELIEVE HONESTLY I AM BELOW AN AMATEUR STATUS BUT I AM REALLY WILLING TO LEARN IN FIVE YEARS TIME I WUD LIKE TO HAVE MY TANK POSTED AS ONE OF THE MASA TANK OF THE MONTH AND I UNDERSTAND IT WONT BE EASY BUT THATS MY GOAL.

I AM LIVING IN PIETERMARITZBURG MY TANK DIMENSIONS SHUD BE 120(W)x80(H)x40(D) GIVE OR TAKE I HAVE POSTED SOME PHOTOS TO SHOW WAT THE TANK LUKS LIKE AND ALSO THE SUMP WHICH HAS FIVE CHAMBERS THE TANK HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DRAINED AND CLEANED SO I WILL AWAIT FOR YOU GUYS TO TELL ME EXACTLY STEP BY STEP TO WHICH WAY TO GO I'VE GOT A VIA SKIMMER WHICH I HAVE ALREADY TOOK A PIC OF AND POSTED SO YOU CAN CHECK WHETHER IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.
LIGHTING I HAVE 2 T5 TUBES ONE PINK AND ONE BLUE I ALSO HAVE A UV STERILISER
THATS ABOUT IT NOTHING ELSE SO IN OTHER WORDS I AM STARTING FRESH IN NO MISHAPS THIS TIME
LASTLY I AM HOPING TO HAVE A TANK WITH LOTS OF LPS AND A FEW SPS AND FOWLR IN THE LATER STAGES WEN THE TANK MATURES THOROUGHLY.
