    Hey there

I've been on this forum for awhile now and I guess its finally time to say howzit!
I dont have a Marine tank yet ,but I'm hoping that will change soon.

I've had fresh water systems for awhile now but always been intrested in marines, especially when I worked for a dive shop in sandton and became a instructor. The reefs in sodwana and moz are too beautiful!!

I finally bought I tank in Jhb a few years ago with the intention of starting but moved to C.T and was like a fish out of water. Now that I've found my way around and found a marine retailer 5min from where I live ,I'm keen to get started:)
Just need to sell my discus and tank now:sad:wont have space for both.

    welcome!
u come to the the right place, take time in making decisions and ask loads of questions along the way.

what are the dimensions of your FW tank, it is possible to use this, unless of course u looking for something bigger etc.

    enjoy your stay :)

Welcome to MASA, hope you enjoy it here with us. Glad you're leaving bath water for marines :whistling: - much more exiting, but also much more expensive and involving :) - my opinion :p
Anyway, read and learn as much as you can and don't be shy to ask - read through my signature for some great info on starting a marine tank.
Enjoy your new "salty" hobby ;)

Hi and welcome......another convert from discus to marine, you wont look back, although i must say i still miss my discus now and again.
In Fact if you are a successful discus keeper you wont struggle with the marines as i still maintain my marine system is easier then my discus were.

Sorry for late reply, I can't be on this forum all day like some of u;) To be honest I love keeping Discus and they not really that hard to keep, but I need something a bit more challenging now:) Well I'm starting new tank soon! we in the planning stages at the moment. I'll keep you all updated!
