Hectic waves in Durban

    Hey guys, looked over the balcony this evening and was shocked at the swell and height of the waves.I did notice a bit of a swell in the ocean over the last few days. The water came right up on to the pavement by Wimpy.

    yoh, those are big, saw something like that at isipingo when i went yesterday

    Hope u dont mind me posting this pic mek,but it was huge up to 40foot waves breaking and wrecking our coastline and buildings

    All i can say is you lucky buggers living by the sea. As soon as i am finished studying.:thumbup:

    Yeah Les, dont know what happened to all the surfers.The Jet ski's usually pull them in, in waters like this.
    Andreas, i didnt get a chance to look over and see what high tide was like :p

    come from beach about an hour ago and the waves are pretty big down here too.. its still radically high for a tide thats going out at 5.. not sure whats going on...
