    Hey Guys and Girls!

So ive ordered some LED's and getting ready to DIY my build pretty soon...

I am still trying to find a decent size heatsink at a reasonable price...Does anyone perhaps know where I can get my hands on a nice piece around 300mm x 250mm?

Else two 300mm x 100-150mm? Would then run them side by side...

Also looking for a few 3W UV LED's if someone has some left over from a build...

Hoping to hear from you guys soon

    I have 2x 3W UV LEDs I'm not using.
R50 each if you want them.

Dont waste your money buying expensive heatsinks.....buy 10mm alu plate - and machine a couple of ridges in the back......i did this worked out not even to be a 3rd of the price of a heatsink.....and works great....no heat issues at all.....as the nice think alu absorbs the heat nicely....one or 2 fans in your canopy to get some air movement over it....works the bomb!

Hi man. We have laser cutting guys in PE - sure you will have something similar up there? You just send them the dimensions.....and they can it for you - and they normally only charge for the section they cat for you....give some places a call.

I then just had a local machine shop mill the ridges.....however - on my latest project....i found that a normal wood router does the job....and it does it better.....smooth....

    Cheers

    Yea man.
They are already mounted on the star heat sinks.
So all you gotta do is wire them up and mount them.

This is what they look like.

Yip, they are the 700mA forward voltage ones.
Not planning on going anywhere near Midrand this weekend as I need to spend time with the family after working outside of SA this week.

Pop me a PM and I will give you my details if you want to swing past and collect.
Also have loads of 60 Deg lenses lying about, so bring a sample of your current LEDs to see if they fit if you are interested.
Selling the Lenses at R10 each.
