Yeah Tobes - GEEZ - the people of those SCUBA resorts lost EVERYTHING - their livelyhood, everything. I persponally know Shane Coomans - great guy. IT must be a TERRIBLE thing for those people who visited there, and also lost all their stuff - BUT, it does not seem like anyone has lost their lives, though.
Which is a GREAT thing to hear! (Inbetween the terrible news).

I am quiet sure that the resorts would have had - the only thing that would make this insurance slightly more difficult - is the fact that they are in another country..... I think that the Moz government would have insisted that they companies that started/built these resorts, would have had their insurance "in place" before they allowed them to trade.
BUT, I am wondering what the visitors are doing w.r.t the stuff that they lost?

Wow! That is a lot of damage for one candle! I will never understand why people leave candles unattended. A shame! I hope they are able to rebuild as quick as possible.

As far as I know, insurance does not cover "reed" chalets nor wooden chalets- it used to be like that, maybe it changed
