    Please help me out.

Firs ATO all set with Saga system and Haelia pump. Activated but didn't flow. Good reason: Pump only had a head height of 1 meter. Height required 135cm. So poo on me for reading the package insert.

Second time round using Sicce pump with 1.8 meter height and 1350lt/hr. Should work but it doesn't! Drop inlet tube to about 90cm before I get flow. What is going on?

I am using the same tubing as my RO setup. About 5mm wide, high pressure tubing. I can only think the thin diameter is causing to much resistance.

So how wide is the right wide to get a head height of 1.8 meters?

Thanks a million for any assistance.

Are you pumping the RO directly into display? Or why the big difference?

Trying to keep it neat without a lot of external buckets on stands.

I would use normal 10-12mm clear PVC tubing. Remember that if you use elbows that it will add to the head height. And at 1.8m that sicce will pump 0LPH. Do you have a flow graph for that pump?

No elbows just a slight bend.
No graph, the pump came from the back right chamber on the RsM 250 but the head height is stated on the pump.

    Will try 10mm. Thanks.

Pump model number? Closest Sicce with those specs is the syncra silent 1.5 and with a head of 1.5m it should give you around 500LPH which will be more than enough. At least with clear tubing you will be able to see how far up the water gets.

I had a look on the sicce website. It is a 1.5 and 500 lt/hr should be plenty. Must be the skinny tubing. I am going to try 8mm then 10mm then 12mm. It pained me no end to drill the 5mm hole in the back of my tank cover. Don't want to go to big.

    It works!

I tried 12mm clear tubing. It's all I had in the house and it fit the Pump connector. Worked perfectly! Not too fast so it would spray everywhere but only flows for about 15 seconds until the float switches it off. I am going to put it on a sixty second time safety switch. Too long but the shortest the Saga allows for. Won't stop over flowing but will definitely prevent a disastrous flood.

    Thanks for the help.
