Thank you. Yeah that was not a great morning. First thing I do when I wake up now is check the floor before checking the tanksJust read through your whole thread, so glad to see the eel survived and is doing well, crazy how he managed to stay alive after being out of water for so long. Keep the updates coming.
. I must say I'm really impressed with the little guy, was expecting to have a hard time feeding him or not seeing much of him. But he is out and about at least 2 or 3 times I day that I know of and he has no issues eating.Over the weekend I went to the Airport to collect our newest addition. I have been in two minds about posting about it but here goes.
So its a little Fu Manchu Lionfish, its something we really wanted but was having a hard time finding which is why we went with the little fuzzy. But we finally manged to get one.
The Fu Manchu is currently sitting in QT, he did however turn out about 4cm bigger than we though (is about 10cm).
We have read up about keeping multiple lions in the same tank and many people do it successfully however we are still a bit worried about the size difference between the the two lions. Will see what we decide when QT is over.

Much to our surprise little Ryan the fuzzy lion ate about 5 pieces of mysis shrimp tonight (and kept it down) after having 2 guppies two days ago. Not to celebrate too quickly but was really cool to watch because he was actively swimming after the pieces one after the other. 
He was even eyeing the lancefish (meant for Eli) that was about three quarters of his size.
The Fu Manchu has one guppy and showed very little interest in the second one that kept swimming into him...
Very interesting to already see the difference in their personalities and the way they approach eating / catching their food.

No real update, we did move the clowns to the other tank (still in their coral box) so that the other fish can get use to them. It will take way to long before we feel comfortable the Ryan won't accidentally eat the smaller one.
We also have a Lieutenant Tang in QT that will also go into the predator tank. But we are still looking for a select few to add to the tank. Currently on first glance it looks empty.
Current fish are all doing really well. Ryan has expanded his died into different frozen foods, still not liking the squid or blood worms.

On a different note, we have noticed something really weird that the Tommy does. He has what we call a poop corner... Since the tank is bare bottom it is pretty easy to see and we can confirm that it is Tommy and only Tommy that poops in that corner and no where else in the tank that we can see.

The last week has been very interesting for me. Since our predator tank that I "take care of" does not have a sump but is instead plumbed into @SFlows sump, I was able to get away from "taking care" of the tank other than feeding the fish.
Last weekend @SFlow broke his knee cap and is now in crutches for the next 6 weeks. So suddenly all the tanks responsibilities now fall on me (was at least able to start with him sitting in a chair and giving out orders). I must say it has been interesting to learn. Not sure why I never got into the details before but I guess he knew what needed to be done and was there to do it so I could get away with just doing the fun stuff

The one thing I could do without is carrying the salt / RO water drums around, pretty sure I'm either gonna break my back or be super strong
after these 6 weeks.

Not the best
but having to use my hand to wipe out the inside was pretty nasty. What worries me more is the dirty filter socks accumulating in the closed bucket. Not looking forward to opening that up 
So we have been going back and forth on which tank we need to put the clowns in and finally made a decision this morning. The two clowns, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm (Yes that is their names, no I did not name them ) went into the predator tank this morning.

So far the clowns are settling in very well and the rest of the tank inhabitants are not bothered by them at all. I was slightly worried about feeding time but its clear that they all understand their place when it comes to feeding and stays out of each others way.
