    Ok so heres my story!

Went down to the beach the other day and Caught a few small convicts , a semi and a 2 auriga's. I put them in my sump to get them eating and a few days later the
convict is jolling in my main display like Harry Houdini! My question is could he have made it through the return pump with out becoming Sashimi?

Unless your sump is right next to your display and he jumped, then the only way was through the pump or someone put him there.

I have seen stranger things happen

Hahahaha, thats one for the books. Had my lawnmower blenny end in the sump through an almost closed ballvalve once. The return is on the other side of a nylon strainer with slots way smaller than the blenny as well. Nevertheless, he got all the way to the sump.

Some fish do defy common sense sometimes, but they do not have sense anyway, so they do what they want.

I had the same thing happen with my Juvi Checkerboard wrasse. He used to swap from DT to Sump and back to DT all the time!

This is now crazy - 1 of the 3 Auriga's has ended up in my display tank aswell. He is still small so I will leave him for a while - might keep the aptasia under control and mow down the zoas :tt2:
