What is this? (to the top right, behind and above the blasto).

Ot looks like rouble bubbled shells. It is brown/gold in color and has a shiny surface. I always had some of it, but lately they seam to have multiplied rapidly.

Never seen it moved, but they do disappear. It is about 1mm in diameter.

It never is on the corals, but everywhere else, including my clam shell and also like to cover bubble algae.

    Good, bad or ugly?

i know those! im pretty sure those are the things that have killed some of my corals...

they have this like slime stuff coming out of them (which covers your corals), then they suck in the slime...

Think you are talking abou the pointy ones to he left of it?

Think they are some type of worm, they do send out sticky wires (like a spaghetti worm) in then pull it back. Mine does not seam to harm the corals around it, have quite a few of them in my tank.

I am talking about the little round things near the edge of the coral at 2 '0 clock.

    look like small limpet snails.
    Are the shells pointy?
and not round, but more oval in shape?

Yes @RiaanP, I looked closer, it is an asymmetrical oval shaped "shell" with a point on one end (in most).

    Good or bad?

No, they are stationary, never seen anything sticking out from under the shell. They do however disappear, so I will see if I can spot them moving at night. They out in the open.

The favorite place is to congregate is on the top of bubble algae.

sounds like small limpet snails. There do not move very fast. Mostly sit still. But the point should be like a pyramid, in the middle. OK , oval shaped pyramid....

    Yip, spot on.

Are they bad or good? What do they eat? Can't find much on them on the web.
