Hi, I recently purchased a hard shroom and its a lovely coral, opens up and thrives but recently I noticed what I thought was a tube nennie in my sump on the sand about 6mm in diameter with tentacles.....

after nursing it for a while, i noticed ,while moving it, its more mushroom like with no 'neck'. after moving it from my sump today, i felt that it indeed had a solid base and on closer inspection, it looks exactly like a bloody hard shroom!

Could the coral have spawned somehow? or is it just coincidence?

    just some thought, thanx!
