    Hey guys,

So I will probably end up hanging my lighting in some way.

Could you guys please post pictures of how you hang your lights, I would like to see what different ways people come up with doing it

This is how I hanged mine. I made them to be adjustable for width of tank. Roll bolted to the wall. It all depends on the size or rather weight of the light you want to hang. For my Radion I will do something completely different though. Looks crappy with a hanging kit.

@birkettN , what units are you going to hang.

This IMO is a very neat solution, the best part is that the suspension kit is height adjustable with ease, they extremely difficult to find, we do them as the kit.

Thanks for the pics so far guys.
@Andre@ReefAquatics , I haven't really decided on what lighting unit I'm getting yet, but if I end up getting something like the Intellisuns which don't come with tank mounts I just want to see how ppl are hanging their lights.

Ok, all lighting units do come with some sort of hanging suspension kit - Worst case is 2 small cable holes in the roof and a baton in the ceiling.

@zak Something like that extendible mount would be perfect, something like that or like the goose-neck mount that the Kessil Units have, pitty the Kessils are so expensive

Square aluminium tube could accomplish the same thing as that flexible bracket, and you'll have a cavity to run your cables through. Only thing is, size will be fixed..

Hmm actually looking at the Pharos 90W units now, they come with tank mounts and seem like decent lights

More detail. Halidam runners at the top, can move the light units back without removing any lights from the frame. Can still see what I'm doing.

also the lights are a bit to the front and angled back towards the rock stack. So not shining down from directly above. Gives me a bit more coral placement options and less algae growth on the front glass panel.
