Ok guys, i have just witnessed one of the most amazing things ive ever seen im my years of marine keeping!!!
One week & 3 days ago, I installed the new Reef Aquatics IntelliSun over my frag tank & programmed it with a moonlight cycle to start at 19:00 to 02:00.
About an hour ago, ALL my euphillia corals spawned at the exact same time!!!!! WWWOOOWWW!!!! 3 large hammer corals at the same time!!! There must really be something special about the IntelliSun,s color spectrum if the corals start spawning!!!
Unfortunately i could capture only the large hammer in a photo while spawning! Hope you guys like it, because i think its absolutely amazing!

Must be doing something right in the frag tank!
& the confusing part is the tank has only finished its cycle about 3weeks ago... Not even a fully matured frag tank yet. the corals, liverock & most of the water was indeed transferred from my very matured ex-frag tank, so the transfer wasnt really a big shock to the corals... (Or so it seems)

Lol, yip, im still having a rush about it!!!
The smaller hammer coral started spawning first, then the next about 3seconds later & about 5 seconds later the largest one!
They all just spawned once & went from fulli inflated to almost a quarter the size during the spawn... They seem to be almost back to normal again...

well most of it has been skimmed out probably, but if there is that is still in the tank, i think that would probably be the outcome . will be one awesome sight to see

I poured the skimmate back into the tank when they filled up as it was almost clean water (luckely i cleaned the skimmer this morning.
Will keep it off for a xouple days...

@HOT SAUCE, i dont thing anyone has ever been able to have raised corals from spawn as our skimmers usually catch them before they could grow out & theres also very little chance in a tank of having a male & female of the same coral which makes it nearly impossible to get fertilized eggs... But, i might as well give it a try... Will keep skimmer off for a couple days. Perhaps i might get lucky!
@carlosdeandrade might be able to add some wisdom here as he studied zoology...

I think Andre is right unless the eggs have been harmed by the skimmate you could possibly save few.

Will do!!! This might be a good chance to save them & possible get a couple fertilized eggs as 2 of the hammers are exactly the same species (only different colors)
Hopefully they are male & female...
