    i have seen some go up to 100mm, they will happily live alongside others of their species (or similar) for instance in one tank i saw 3 hammers and a bubble coral (all lps and similar) in one patch, just be careful of softies and sps

    It also depends on your flow, the higher the flow, the farther the sweepers will protrude. My frogspawn killed my leather witch was quite far and upstream from it because of this.
