Hammer coral to dip or not to dip?

Hi guys,
As the title says to dip or not with a hammer coral. I'm picking up my first Hammer coral tomorrow and while reading up got conflicting info about dipping Hammers.
Whats the general consensus? If yes with what?

sorry, late reply, but you can dip hammer corals.

Ended up just dipping in SW iodine solution. Only for 10-15 seconds
