    Hey all,

Bought a few little "scraps" the other weekend, mostly mushies. Had them in a dish with coral chips to attach naturally - worked a treat. So, took the one hairy mushroom out and placed it in a little nook in my rocks and now its moved right off the chipand seems to be attaching to the rock itself.

Just wanted to ask how motile these guys are? It seems to be moving almost like an anemone..?

Dane'O I recon shroom move even way more than nennies mine are splitting and moving all the time, the weirdest thing is that I have a stripped green shroom which is on a 50 x 50 tile and will move all over but never leaves the tile so kinda keeps bouncing around on nthe tile.

Well technically mushrooms are a type of anemone and not corals so they will move around.

Thanks guys, he seems to have found a spot for now.
Manic - you're correct to say they arent true corals, but they're not aneomones. They're closely related to SPS actually..

    From WetWebMedia:

Christiaan, busy with masters exams at the mo, will update with some pics come the weekend. Will try and get a nice macro of the hairy, looks awesome up close. Its tiny at present - like 50c coin sized.
