    Hi,

Has anyone got any experience on the old Hagen Biolife 55?
I still have two filters and was wondering if I could put them to use anywhere. It's supposed to be a biological filter, is it any good for use in the marine environment?

Never had one but looks like a normal freshwater hang on filter. Probably not much use as is, but you could use it to house filter media like carbon, phosphate remover, matrix etc

    Thanks @dallasg.

It does look small, so I'll not take any chances with.
A Google search shows that there's no spares available, so I won't use it anywhere critical, even though one filter is new.
