I have on MASA for a few years, in that few years I had a about 3 tanks,
which I closed down, took a short break and I am back again.

    So here we go

    TANK SPECS.
    DT =1800mm(L) x 400mm (W) x 650mm(H) in 10mm glass
Sump =Not too sure on the size, its about 1200 with 3 Chambers

    LIGHTING.
    I have two Leds Units.
I thought I would be saving Electricity If I go Leds but man oh man I was wrong that is because I went abit extreme on Lighting.
My 2 Units uses about 462 Watts. 152x3 Watts LED’s
Ratio is a mix of 455nm and 460 bm Blue’s and 6500k,9000k and 14000k whites.

    Sump
    In My Sump,
Chamber 1, I have 2 skimmers or rather I planned to use 2 skimmers but unfortunately the pump on the 2nd skimmer gave in.
Skimmer one, is a small can’t remember the name skimmer rated for 300 to 500L tank.
Skimmer two, is a Aqua Medic turbo 1000 which the pump OTP 2500 stopped working need to get a replacement.
Chamber 2, I have DSB using the undergravel denitrator technique, this is used by @Visser, and so far it’s been 3 months and no problems.
Chamber 3, I have a Return pump directly linked into my display and another return pump much smaller connecting into a canister filter filled with live rock that connects to another canister filled with carbon that is linked to small chillier and lastly a PhosBan Reactor with Kent Marine Phosphate Sponge,

    In Tank

    2 X Sun Sun JVP 202 (12000L/h)

    Pics To follow

Gents Do you think I need to add a light in the sump? I do get about 3 hours of natural light from those glass bricks

Some great pieces of coral there and those lights seem quite nice.
If I may make a few suggestions:
Those skimmers (macro aqua? And AQUA MEDIC) will hardly be sufficient when you really start stocking...
Likewise, you will drastically need to increase your flow.. Another 5 if those sunsuns and you'll be getting there.

you got the double Sunsun pumps, the 12000L/h?

I would put a black background on that tank, the windows behind the tank is a very big distraction for me. Although the free light could be useful, but nope, I prefer a background.

Agree with the black background. You sure going to drive yourself crazy keeping it clean. I also think you need more flow. It is looking good though!
