How far should I place my green tip torch coral be place from other corals. Especially from the finger leather and to my candy cane as they are about 15 cm away from where I want to place my coral?

at least double the length of the existing tentacles, they shoot out at night and will kill any corals it stings, i got rid of mine for that reason

I dont know hey...I always hear these stories of people saying Euphyllias sweeper tenticles come out and take out surrounding corals. I myself have never seen it...never seen a sweeper tenticle come out of any of my Euphyllia species ever tbh...I have all of mine pretty close to other corals with no ill effects...15cm however is the recommended distance so if u weary then yes that should be fine.

I have seen many more docile versions also, they come in all sorts of levels of aggression, not sure what dictates if its aggressive or not. But like i said mine was quite big, about 25cm in normal conditions but when the sweepers came out, anything within about 50-60cm was in range. It stung zoas, shrooms, pretty much anything in range.

So my advise is just observe it for the first few days and see how much space u need....

Its probably like 10 times as far from them.heres a pic.

Also, will other coral die over night or will they show signs of suffering first. [IMG]

thats got plenty distance between it and the other corals. You would notice it stinging them yes...that candy cane would be retracted into its skeleton where it was stung and you would notice little white burn marks on the leather.
