    Hi guys

I have a 60cm cube specifically for seahorses that I've had for about a month or so now. Because the flow can't be too strong for them I'm starting to develop a green slime algae on my rocks. I siphon it out regularly but it just keeps returning. What should I do? Can't make the flow too strong. Have to test my nitrates and phosphates tonight but I'm using antiphos at the moment. Anyone else had this problem?

    What equipment you using ?

I would suggest a good skimmer or even an algae scrubber that will help with the algae problem.

just keep in mind the algae scrubber makes husbandry easier, so instead of pulling the algae out in your DT you're pulling it out in a more controlled environment.

While it is not very pretty, green algae is great for growing pods, which are essential for sea horses.
