I m no expert and still seeks lots of advise but from i have learnt i also use to have a lot of green algae problems in my tank...only to discover my calcium were low and magnesium was to high...the tests kits i used didn't pick it up until i decided to purchased a more advanced and accurate test kit individually. Since then i have corrected my levels and i can say that i only have the pink coraline algae growing..
