Green algae

    hi guys last Nov I upgraded to a 500 litre aquarium I have this green algae stuff q rowing at the back of my aquarium..
    can anyone tell.me.excatly wat that cud be .

    Looks like normal algae. You can scrape it off the back.
    What are your phosphate and nitrate readings?

    nitrate 1.2
    I had smaller.tanks prior to my 500 litre upgrade
    never have I seen this before

    Looks like normal film algea. Cleaning it more occasionally will prevent it from growing thick and becoming a pain to remove. The flipper magnet cleaner makes short work of it though.
