I have the same problem with my nano, shows up as green specs on the glass.

Unfortunately it is exceptionally hard to remove with an algae scrubber so i got the scrubber turf and scrubbed it from the inside of the tank, seems to work but theres hands in the tank then, so yeah.

If its really hard to remove try a razor blade.

An algea scrubber is a plate of glass/cloth/device in the tank that promotes algea growth to keep the groth of alge out of your display tank.
