Does anyone know how much LPH will flow through a 10mm hole or pipe. Or is there a formula I can use to calculate this?

IMO, depends on the volume and location of hole (pressure) and the return pump rate.

I agree with @Nur. The flow rate will depend on the pressure at the inlet to the pipe.

I understand that flow rate will be dependant on the pressure, but a hole or pipe can only hold or allow a certain amount of water through, that's what I'm trying to determine.

Is the 10mm pipe already installed.as the outlet from the DT to the sump?

If I understand this correctly... You need a formula to determine the gravity feed to your sump threw a 10mm pipe/tube? Perhaps take the pipe you intend to use drain water from the tank (if possible) or simulate the same senario in regards to height and size, and drain the water in a bucket over a period of 20sec. take the reading multiply by 180 and you should get the reading that you need. Reason why I say x 180 (1hr = 60min = 60x60 = 3600sec 3600/20sec = 180)

    any opinion will be appreciated
