    WOW! Awesome new tank, Werner! PLEASE add some wood, and polystyreen below the tank before you fill it with water! As I think this tank MIGHT crack if you don't have wood, and polystyreen between the tank and the metal stand.........

    Looks cool man

    Looks like the sump has got a glass lid, is it normal to close the Sump like that? Im only asking because i dont know.

    Is the stand open at the back by the sump?

    dohn it is normal to close a sump like that but it is not needed and tony i will defnitly put the polystyreen in between the tank damn but that thing is heavy and doesnt even have water in :1:

    You looking at between R20 and R30 per either 20kg or 40kg bag, Werner.

    Very nice tank. If I may suggest - remove the cover on the sump to improve evapouration as the tank also has a cover.

    Playsand prices have gone up. Its now R60 a 20kg bag. Nice tank BTW

    length :1500
    width : 600
    height : 615

    sump
    length :1050
    width :380
    height :420

    it has 10mm glass
    i dont know how many liters the main tank is does anyone know how to work out how many liters it is ? :)

    Is that 615 water height? Anyway, you take (1500 x 600 x 615)/100 = 15 x 6 x 6.15 = 553.5 litres
