    Hello

I'm going to Gordons bay on vacation this December. I just want to know if anyone knows what kind of fish and corals I can find in the near area:whistling:.

    Thanx

    Sorry mate....

Dont think you will find anything too interesting in GB except one or 2 shells for you hermits.
I could be wrong but i know of very little spots with anything great?

Gordons Bay... in False Bay... Western Cape.

Water is cold.... even in summer.

Ya like i said... dont think you'll get much.

Maybe someone else knows of something but as far as i know.... all cold water marines.

Even the nennies and inverts that i've seen there are not suitable for tropical reef systems.

An elderly lady that i met once told me of some dancing shrimps she caught near the harbour once in summer but i'm not sure how true this statement was?

I think the closest you will find anything with any reasonable chance of success will be Stil Baai.
Anything further west will likely be very compromised health wise.
