I thought I would start a thread on this very handy tool for everyone to post questions, ideas and tips. ( I must stress, I only know a little bit)

Its a free download and certainly worth the effort

Very Quick and easy to learn which I think is one of its greatest benefits.

I just dabble a little and manage to create some simple designs that come in quite handy
 
kanga your documents can not be opened, best program to use to capture your pics is irfan view very small and free program, also good at converting files to .gif's without loosing any quality;)
 
Phat it opens fine for me

Guys I removed one, its got more Sketchup Pro info, I will find the other one now
 
Hey dude could I bother you with a request. Looking for a biltong dryer design. Any chance you could do one on sketchup for me? Roughly 2.1m tall. 1.5m wide 0.5m deep.

Can't think of anyone better to do it for me.
