    Hey guys,

I've been a member of MASA for a while and have been following a lot of your threads with interest and must complement you on the excellent advise. I'm currently studying veterinary at Onderstepoort and would like your advise on good marine books to upgrade or current ancient collection at our library. They can be from overseas and should be as comprehensive as possible covering topics such as breeding, coral care, marine chemistry and setup. The newer the publication the better. Also any magazine publications that are worth while can also be suggested. All your input will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Garth.

Coral Propagation by Anthony Calfo is a good book as well. Lot of info on filtration, refugiums, live food culture, fragging corals, etc.

:welcomewave: Garth. I have some very old marine books, but these days the internet and forums like these are so full of information that we hardly ever have to buy a book!
Have you tried yo get hold of any recent papers, I am sure you will be able to search and then follow references back from these, that's what I did when I when I was studying.
Unfortunately I haven't seen many papers that are published in search engines, maybe only their abstract is found and the "meat" of the paper is left out for the reader to go search for the hard copy, I don't know?
Good kluck, and happy reading, it was my favourite part of studying.
