Going to Thailand

    Hi ppl,

    Im lucky enough to be going on a trip to Thailand,Malaysia,Bangkok on the 1 April.
    Thing is,anybody know IF/WHERE i can get some hardware that side?
    Im sure it will be priced abit better than in SA

    Also going to go mad with the snorkeling:yeahdude:,(maybe catch a few fishies,put in my bag:razz:)
    Anybody got contacts that side etc etc

    or just tips in general.

    LOL,i hope so to and that they dont take me to congo or something

    Are there any good brand marine equipmnt that comes from those places?hoping to buy some nice equipmnt at good prices

    lol from what i have seen of the tanks from thailand is that they are some serious reefers and use TOP equipment(bubble king, tunze, etc) never see the budget reefers. and last i checked tunze and BK were expensive in any country

    Damn,thought i could save on a few items.(vortech for R100):p
    Still going to do research,maybe check on the International forums and aks those guys where to get equipmnt.
    Going to take lotsa pics....underwater reef shots!

    Hi Maj! I was there about 2.5 years back. Awesome place. I didnt really look around for msrine stuff, but I dived at Coral Islands in Pettaya. Mind blowing! You will love it. :)

    WOW Maj, I was there about 5 years ago...what an awesome place. Water is so clear that I took top down fotos of reefs (with a normal snap & shoot cam)

    Rent a moped (cheap) take a drive to the secluded beaches & enjoy...also fishing is excellent.

    BTW...dont take clothes....dirt cheap over there, and be carefull of electronic stuff, I bought a Canon SLR and when I wanted to insure I had a problem and when something went wrong I had hassles sorting it out

    Dude,im mistly looking forward to the diving...im going to be in the water all the time;),just hope i dont snorkel into any of the shemales:nono:

    yip,just going with an overnight bag,wife will be shopping like mad.
    defnilty going to enjoy the Reefs,with lotsa pics.

    was hoping to get a nice camera ther,but now u making me think twice.
    Lotsa guys told me about those thai massages ...with happy endings:biggrin:
    shouldn of got married so soon:p

    LOL dude, I would kill for a real Thai Massage..at the hotel we were staying I actually fell asleep on the massage bed. But there are little streets where a "thai massage' can give you a "big suprise"....beware :whistling:

    I'll show you some pics when you come over.....

    i was warned many times about the massages,cool i can check out the pics u got
    but yes,atleast going for one decent/proper Thai massage.
