Hi guys,

Finally got all my equipment
got the crushed coral
wavemakers
hob skimmer
instant ocean salt
ro water etc etc

going to be running my 1st marine tank by the weekend or so,
if everything works out.

don't know exactly the dimensions
It was first a freshwater tank
what I know is its 130 litre tank

cant get live sand here in bloem.
is crushed coral a good substrate?

@leeg to be honest try and stay away from crushed coral. Im using it in my tank and I HATE it. When I took my tank over from its previous owner I didnt know better. He was using it and I just carried on. Now I regret it. The stuff is ugly, fish poo goes in everywere. It's just a nightmare. I can change it, but that will mean, changing rock scape and corals. If possible, go for arragonite first time around.
