every time i post and i don't want to subscribe to a thread, i need to click on

    Go Advanced

then under Thread Subscription and select the notification type.

Couldn't we do one of two things:

    1. Have the same option of selecting the notification type on the screen before you have to click on Go Advanced?

    2. Default the notifacation type so that when a new post is posted it deafaults to "do not subscribe", and if anyone wants to subscribe to a specific thread by making a post they can simply click on Advanced and change the notification setup.

Option 1 IMO would be the best bet.

I use the "Thread Tools" (drop down Menu) on the Right top of the Thread...I "select" there...hope this helps...

PS: What I did about all the previous Threads...
    1. User CP
    2. List Subscription(Left)
    3. Selected Threads"Move to Folder"(bottom of page...it's a drop-down-menu)..after selecting the whole lot
    4. Selected "no email notification"

just turn off auto subscribe. Under User CP, then edit options and there is a section for "Default subscription Mode" Choose do not subscribe.

Hi Wes, this option is not available unfortunately, the only thing you can do is, once you've posted, click on Thread Tools and choose "unsubscribe from thread", hope that helps.
