Hi Guys. I am looking at building a new tank. 1990mm by 620mm wide and 750mm high, or 78.3 by 24.4 wide by 29.5 inches high.. What would you recommend on glass thickness as i have been told that 10mm will be ok, just a bit concerned that 12mm will be safer

12mm will be ok, but you will need to euro brace and cross brace. also your safety factor is very low, i wouldnt go higher than 700 with 12mm, you will also need a double base to support the weight and rock

i have gone 2500x1000x600 in 12mm with 24mm base and get a safety factor of 6.5, this tank will be cross braced and euro braced
