    help needed!!!

can i build a sump 160cm x 50cm x 40cm(lxbxh) in 6mm glass? the sump will only contain at max 320l of water(when power turns off!) and 240l while all pumps are running.

the max water hight will be +-30cm and the lowest hight will be 15cm.

    will this be okay?:032:

The panes for the chambers act as bracing as well, you should be fine

i thought it would also be fine, because i read some where that it mainly deepends on the depth of the tank and my max hight will only be +-30cm. i might be wrong

Gaz, if you have got quite a few compartments and baffles you will get away with 6mm.
