glass shrimp id please

    hi guys .

    two of these were passed on to me when a friend's tank cracked .
    anybody seen it before ? it is local as far as i know ...

    a fancy name for it would be cool ...

    Some call it glass shrimps or ghost shrimps, whe got plenty in rivers in KZN. Mysis shrimp got more smaller leg in front.

    All i can find, name it tiger glass shrimps.

    they are super common if you know where to look, ive literally seen over 100 of them in a rockpool that was no more than 2m long and 1m wide :eek:

    I got a few in both my tanks. My trigger fish love them to death.:tt2:

    Sheffield beach, brighton and also shelly beach.... But if you look hard enough at most beaches you will find some :)

    thats not ideal if they are part of the CUC, but if they are feeders theres nothing wrong with that :D
