Getting my "feet wet" Again

    Morning All,

    Been awhile since I was in the hobby or posted on MASA - have been going through the forums for awhile & catching up on everything :eek:

    Now staying in Cape Town, and think I have found sound one who can make a great tank BUT also looking for a company that offers a great weekly maintenance programme - any suggestions please? (stay in Somerset West)

    One other quick questions to start with please - what battery / inverter system can you recommend for a tank (to say last @ least 3 to 4 hours)?

    welcome back :)

    as for inverters, depends on what wattage you want to run but a 1200W (2000VA) inverter with 2-4 102Ah batteries will give you ample backup

    What type of tank are you going to set up Michael? Going to do something different other than SPS?

    Thanks for feedback @dallasg - yea, think I'm going to go with the Ellies 1,200w (a bit pricy, but with current "load shedding"a must have.
