Hey guys. I got a male Maldives anthia on Thursday. He spent a lot of time hiding but now he is swimming out in the open. He hasn't eaten since. What can i give him to get him to eat?

Live brine shrimp. You can feed when they've just hatched, about 36 hrs after submerging the eggs. Apparently they're most nutritious when they still the yolk sac attached. Once the fish start feeding, you can try other, more nutritious foods. Anthias need to be fed at least 3 times a day.

Try any of the ON frozen food like :
    mysis
    artemia
    lobster eggs
    cyclops
    red plankton

I have a tuka and 2 evanzis which are notorious difficult feeders.
    They love the above.
None of them will take flake or pellet foods like squamipinnus, cooperi, bartlets, ignitus

Mix flakes and frozen fish roe. They will eat the fish roe and get the taste for flakes. Worked everytime for me.

Fish roe is way bigger than lobster eggs. It is little white balls. I've never had luck with lobster eggs.

Normal fish roe is also pretty fine like the lobster eggs. Unless its like caviar. Where did you get your fish roe from Manic?
