Urgent help needed Generator OR Inverter Needed for Wed 8:00 - 16:00

    Just received the dreaded letter form the council, electricity will be out in my area from 8:00 am until 4:00pm

    Could someone PLS PLS help me out with an inverter or a generator.

    Your help will be HUGELY appreciated.

    I need to run a:

    300W heater
    1200l l/h Eheim uplift pump
    2 sun sun powerheads to maintain flow

    sammy plan b could be a battery operated airpump with the air split to maintain the sump and the DT.. batterys should last about 8 hours..

    Look for a gennie, bit long for an inverter, unless it's got plenty batteries.

    Builder and game have some decent specials on small gennies, you'll need to refill throughout the day though.

    Under a R1000 bucks.

    Agree with Tobes, it will easily run your load (and possibly the fridge or freezer) :thumbup:

    Just make sure that it has an "AVR" (Automatic Voltage Regulator) built into the gennie. Unregulated generators can fluctuate voltage quite seriously, and an over- or under voltage can damage your pumps.

    Its hectic, the things we have to do thankx to Escom!!! but the battery pump is ok and been summer temp should'nt drop to fast...Stability also good to add at a time like this.
