Got a few general questions so easier to keep them in one place.

    1. Aptaisa 2cm from my clam, can I still use Joe's Juice?
    2. What media is better for my calcium reactor? Course or fine? (its short and wide)
    3. Whats a good/recommended magnesium additive?

    :peroni:cheers.

(I'm sure there'll be more questions later)

    1. I wouldnt risk it.
    2. I prefer a coarse media as it doesnt make its way into your reactors recirc pump easily. Tunze is a great brand.
    3. Epsom salt

Check your Mg levels first. I have found WC are adequate to keep the levels stable.

Also remember Epsom Salts will introduce sulphates into your system.

Best to discuss this with Hennie. I've given it a go for about a year now and no ill effects. :)

I previously use to just chuck it in and test my Mg levels. But the problem with epsom salts is the particles are coarse and therefore dont dissolve very easily. So i now mix in RO and add to the tank.
In terms of Ph and Alk, I havent noticed no effects to them. :)
