after running my tank for ages and wanting a nennie again I finally took the plunge yesterday. I was a little torn about my choice as i was realy wantinga RBTA but this fella looked nice with his bi colour tentacles and his foot was well ancoured. It looks a little light on colour to me and might need some tender care, especially as it showed no feeding responce to a small piece of lance fish today. But its new days and i will just watch it carefully.

here a few pics on my new nennie:) so chuffed to have a bta again

clowns are naturally staying deep in their pin chsion at the moment, scared of the new home, but thats fine with me, id rather have the nennie settle and thrive without the irratations of pesky clowns at the mo

    PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its almost your fault i got this fella, too much talk about BTA purchasing, althpough ive had my eye out for one for a while. I must confess to being far more settled in my abilities with nennies the second time round and am not stressing like i did with the first one.

best of luck with my (niel's) your nennie, it really is a beautiful thing:)

mine detached and moved right through the reef (thafully as the LR he was on was ugly! i have nicer stuff) and is now sitting point to the back of the aquarium foot deep in the reef but looking absolutely beautiful!

Great to hear your GBTA is settling in well and inflating (and that you got some propperly cured LR with it!) im looking forward to the pics

ive just measure him dallas, he is just on 12cm diameter which is a good size i think. i didnt want a huge fella (like that GBTA i had) as it takes so much space, so this one was a well planned and happy find:)

i dont go that heavily in for actinics although i have a few spare actinic plus bulbs I could put it and i should think the nennie would look great under them. i'll wait a while for him to settle under the lights i have at the mo and then try him under heavier actinics....the zoas would ptrobably look great under it too

well thats the aim, appartently we arent supposed to get to close to them so im only taking my 85 mm lense which means i need to be fairly close inorder to get a decent image, should be a laugh.

cant be as tough as slapping a rhinos bum and i managed that a few times in my life:)
