Hello all,
It is not only corals, the heading is a bit of a misnomer !
I am packing in my tank and settling for a smaller one with less equipment. The current power outages in my area are really screwing things up.
We are having one sometimes 2 a day.
I am going for a tank with softies and a few fish.
So here is my list of things for sale

1 4ft tank (1200 * 45 * 60) L W H
Galvanised stand
Pine Canopy
sump 1200 * 30 * 35
(R1200)

6 T5's (Combination of ATI's Geisman and Aquamedic)
3 Ballasts
1 MH 15K with Electronic ballast


Waterboy 2 in 1
1 Deltec PF501 reacor with Tunze Probe, solenoid and Co2 and extra media (this is almost brand new (R7000 new is about R12000)
1 Reeftek RS2 skimmer (R1800)

Corals

Large red monti on live big chunk o' live rock R500
Smaller red monti's R300 Each
Green monti R300
Tan monti on porcelain rock R400
Large 40 head candy cane R350
Frogspawn Large R300
False brains R100 ea
Yellow Pagoda R200
Birds Nest (got a couple) R300 Each

2 Tunze streams (R400 each)
1 UV submersible R200

Willing to sell individually if all is sold.
I really do not want to sell but I would rather someone else takes it before I start fishing chunks of coral out the skimmer.

These power cuts are killing us :(
 
I know, I have spent too much money to let all my bits and pieces die. I would rather have no tank but have the peace of mind that all my corals are alive and well elsewhere.
 
PLEASE can I have a 6025! I'll take one or both if available! ;)
 
Do you think 2 is overkill in a 128L Nano? If so I'll only take one. Else i'll take both, will see what people recommend.

Where abouts are you? I'm in JHB
 
I think 2 will do nicely as the flow is quite dispersed. I am in the Durban Area.
 
Smithers: will do some reading on the 6025. I will EFT you tomorrow? Not sure if i'll take 1 or both yet, can you give me a few hours? ;)
 
No problem Matt. Will keep both aside just in case. Besides it is too late to make an informed decision this time of the evening !

Is the skimmer an external one. If so how many litres is it rated for? Oh I got first dibs on the skimmer and T5 lighting with balasts.

haha that reminds me of a Gary Larson cartoon, the far side,

picture of a guy at a desk writting an exma, reaching into his bag and extracting a HUGE brain, looking shifty as he opens the back of his head to plug it in.
